Building Community through Public Art
Four Seasons of Fun
Funded by the Cranston Arts Commission in 2022, this public art project displays fun outdoor activities to do in Cranston, Rhode Island (USA). The work was inspired by the artist’s childhood memories in Cranston and was painted on site in July 2022.
Small Little Library
La Pequeña Biblioteca
Commissioned by the Downtown Neighborhood Association of Providence RI in 2021, this old newspaper box was reimagined as a little community library where folks could take a book and/or share a book.
Getting Around Town
Located in Cranston RI, this utility box was painted in LUMUKU style in 2023 to promote healthy ways to get outdoors and around the town. The four sides show paddlers on the Pawtuxet River, a biker on the path, a sailor in the bay, and a free spirit flying a kite!
